About Us

Matt is an Iowa native and Iowa State University graduate with over 25 years of experience in both commercial and residential architecture across Des Moines, Central Iowa, and Southern Iowa. He works directly with clients to bring their ideas to life with clarity and confidence.

After decades in the field, Matt created Grace Architecture and Design to offer something more personal: a direct, one-on-one approach where clients work with the architect from start to finish. No layers, no handoffs—just clear communication and intentional design.

Today, the focus is simple: to create spaces that are beautiful, functional, and thoughtfully designed, while making the process as clear and collaborative as possible.
